From engaging youth and hosting innovative events to fostering collaboration with key community stakeholders, SSAPCO has made significant strides in promoting substance abuse prevention across Salmon. Here’s a recap of our recent accomplishments: October Highlights: Red Ribbon Week and Community Engagement Merchant Trick-or-Treat: Over 400 residents and students participated in our alcohol and drug-free Merchant Trick-or-Treat event, creating a safe and fun Halloween experience for families. Zombie Walk Against Fentanyl: Our First Annual Zombie Walk brought 29 participants together to raise awareness about fentanyl dangers. With broad exposure through social media, newspapers, and radio, the event was a resounding success in highlighting this critical issue.
