The Salmon Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition (SSAPCO) is excited to share updates from an impactful final quarter of 2024. From engaging youth and hosting innovative events to fostering collaboration with key community stakeholders, SSAPCO has made significant strides in promoting substance abuse prevention across Salmon. Here’s a recap of our recent accomplishments: October Highlights: Red Ribbon Week and Community Engagement Merchant Trick-or-Treat: Over 400 residents and students participated in our alcohol and drug-free Merchant Trick-or-Treat event, creating a safe and fun Halloween experience for families. Zombie Walk Against Fentanyl: Our First Annual Zombie Walk brought 29 participants together to raise awareness about fentanyl dangers.
